The thriving worldwide interest in the Douro, along with the success of the company’s pioneering activity in cellar visits and wine tastings in the region, led Quinta do Vallado to call on FBA. to rethink and design an updated experience for visitors. The biggest changes introduced were a new road level Vallado Visitor Center, the entry point for booked private cellar tours, along with a wine shop and bar, catering specifically to drop in visitors. FBA. was also responsible for architectural branding, a new signage system and printed materials about Vallado’s wine production process, while updating interiors for the existing tasting room, upper level shop and Sala Adelaide, a private event room overlooking the Corgo Valley.
Established in 1716, Quinta do Vallado is one of the oldest and most famous wine estates in the Douro Valley.
